Born in Lima Peru, Estravides developed a passion for expressing life through his art. He has been a natural talent from a young age living in Lima. During these early years, he was recognized by winning art contests and received critical acclaim. After moving to the United States, he continued to express his passion for art by developing new works. He owned a gallery in Long Beach, California and supported local artist communities.
Estravides has expanded his portfolio of pieces by developing “collections”, around themes that he is passionate about. Always being inspired by the sights, sounds, and emotions around him as well as inside his heart. Estravides is a faithful catholic and his pieces reflect his devotion to family and faith. His latest collection is Camino de Vida (Road of Life) and features a colorful celebration of childhood, motherhood, sisterhood, and the bonds of love and family.
He has painted on various material throughout his career. You will find his art on canvas, wood, glass, and even stone. He believes that some art needs the texture to complete the story.
Estravides has been featured as an artist in Southern California at La Macha galleries, various East Village Galleries in Long Beach and displayed at the world recognized Museum of Latin American Arts (MOLAA).
On the east coast, he has been recognized by the Loudoun County “Art Square”, was a featured artist at the Chimole Gallery in Leesburg, a premier artist at the Nazca Mochica Gallery in Washington, DC and most recently at the Corner Gallery, Mix It Up Gallery and the AW Gallery in Las Vegas, NV.
